This indicator captures the total electricity exchanged in a year between countries measured in Gigawatt hours (GWh), as a result of new or improved interconnection infrastructure, dedicated generation for electricity exports, and/or new or improved regulations supported through IDB Group projects.

This indicator captures tons of cargo handled in ports or airports or transported by railways financed by the IDB Group as well as movement of freight using inland waterways transport.

This indicator captures the number of firms with international trade, tourism and foreign direct investment (FDI) activities supported by IDB Group through programs, initiatives, and private sector interventions that address information and financial frictions as well as coordination failures.
