Promotion and support of the Bioeconomy in the Venezuelan Amazon

The general objective of this technical cooperation is to promote nature-based productive activity to contribute to the economic development of indigenous peoples, protecting their cultural identity and the environmental integrity of the Venezuelan Amazon. The specific objectives are: a) train indigenous leaders in Amazonian bioeconomy using an alternative pedagogy based on their own traditional knowledge; b) promote the development of indigenous bioeconomy productive initiatives; and, c) create, scale and consolidate a learning community on the subject.
