UR-T1090 : Diaspora and Knowledge Intensive Sectors in Uruguay

General Objective. This TC aims to support the development of the intensive productive sectors in the Uruguayan economy knowledge through the innovative mechanism of cooperation among enterprises and local institutions and the highly qualified Uruguayan diaspora. Specific Objectives: The specific objectives are: (i) identify the qualified Uruguayan diaspora related to the prioritary intensive sectors in the areas of knowledge, technical development and innovation; (ii) stimulate the transfer of specialized knowledge; and (iii) desing and implement mechanisms to establish sustainable links with the Government, Academics, and entreprises in order to promote productive development.
