Race and Gender Equity Promotion

The specific objectives are: (i) determine and monitor the representation of female Afro descendant population by developing a system of indicators for use in the public sector; (ii) promote sensitivity training to address discrimination due to race or ethnicity for public servants; (iii) design information campaign aimed at the general public to raise awareness of cultural and racial diversity; and (iv) implement pilot projects that will seek to incorporate gender and diversity issues, with geographic emphasis on rural areas.
