Competitiveness of the Dry Land Agriculture
The General mission is to increase the competitiveness of the dry land agriculture, being promoted the increasing participation of the small and medium producers cooperativizados in the process. Like Specific Objective, the Project sets out to generate permanent and sustainable capacities at level of the agricultural cooperatives to interpret the context and to implement innovating strategies of growth and sustainable development. The Project is organized in two components: Component 1: Design and validation from one metodology elaboration strategy at sectorial level. Its objective is to equip to the cooperatives with a estrategic plan with a defined agenda and consensuada, that paute driving and means an intelligent endorsement for the decision making. For it one will resort to a consultancy that will support the strategic planning, and the design and implementation of the competitiveness agenda. Component 2: Implementation of permanent and sustainable capacities of analysis and planning. It must like objective implement a "Intelligent Observatory" of the evolution of the sector and the possibilities of development of the cooperative system. The component includes the putting in practice of concrete initiatives of joint between the agents of the chain. The component will generate elements of market intelligence, identification of opportunities to valorize the production, and new forms of organization that improve the competitiveness of the cooperatives within the chain. These capacities must be permanent, and will have to be anticipated, from the beginning, actions and strategies that aim at their sustainability. It will be responsibility of the component in addition, to make a near pursuit of the march and implementation of the actions, the product obtaining, its appropriation by the "clients", and the preliminary obtaining of evidence of effects. It will obtain indicators that generate early evidence on the utility and advantage of the actions and its sustainability, and provide lessons for the expansion with the initiative to other headings.
