Innovative Solutions for Small Food Retailers

The general objective of the project is to help strengthen thecompetitiveness of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in the neighborhood retail business sector in Uruguay. The purpose is to further the professional development of retail food business owners through the design and integration of innovative management tools, particularly those involving ICT.
The project will achieve these objectives through four components: (i) design of ICT tools for the neighborhood retail business; (ii) training and technical assistance in ICT use for business owners; (iii) professional development of the sector through collective management tools; and (iv) program dissemination.
