Digital Transformation of Uruguay's National Integrated Health System

The general objective is to contribute to improving the population's timely access to—and continuity of care within—the services of the National Integrated Health System (SNIS), with an emphasis on reducing territorial disparities within the public subsector. The specific objectives (SOs) are: (i) to enhance the capacity of the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) to exercise its stewardship over SNIS providers; and (ii) to improve the management capacity and effectiveness of the State Health Services Administration (ASSE) care network regarding the timely and continuous provision of services.
