More security I: progress in key areas of public safety management

The general development objective of the first operation is to contribute to improving the effectiveness of the penitentiary system and the investigative capacities of the police. The specific development objectives are: (i) to enhance the effectiveness of prison intake management and security; (ii) to strengthen the capacity of the National Police (PN) to investigate crimes; and (iii) to improve police training through the development of competencies and functional specialization.
