To raise the socioeconomic status of small-scale dairy producers in the departments of San José and Flores by promoting activities that offer comparative advantages in terms of production and marketing: (i) to help young eople and women from low-income milk-producing families to become involved in beekeeping; and (ii) to upplement milk production with beekeeping, a new and profitable activity.
