Programa de Apoyo al Desarrollo Turistico
The general objective of the program is to help generate foreign currency, revenues, and employment in the beneficiary areas by strengthening tourism. The specific objective is to increase tourism investment in the program¿s beneficiary departments based on innovative products related to nautical tourism. The program has three components: (i) tourism development along the Uruguay River corridor and associated destinations; (ii) support for private sector entrepreneurship and investment; and (iii) establishment of an integrated management model for the corridor.
