Secondary Education Program
THE GOAL OF THE PROGRAM IS TO ENSURE THAT CHILDREN FROM ALL BACKGROUNDS ARE PREPARED TO PARTICIPATE IN AN CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF CIVIL SOCIETY. SPECIFIC OBJETIVES INCLUDE: TARGETED EQUITY AND QUALITY IMPROVEMENT IN SECONDARY EDUCATION; INCREASED ACCESS TO GENERAL SECONDARY EDUCATION; RATIONALIZATION OF THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION'S ROLE IN THE GOVERNANCE AND PROVISION OF TECHNIVAL/VOCATIONAL TRAINING; AND IDENTIFICATION OF OPTIONS FORM IMPROVED SECTOR PERFORMANCE.
