Strengthening Primary Healthcare Approach for NCDs Prevention

The general objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the preparation and approval of TT-L1075: Integrated Health Services Strengthening Program, which aims to strengthen the health system response of Trinidad and Tobago to non-communicable diseases by prioritizing integrated investments in priority health services, advancing digital health; expanding specialist training and capacity-building; and facilitating centers of excellence through public-private partnerships. Its specific objectives are: (i) to improve the quality of care and health outcomes through integrated NCD surveillance, prevention, and control; and (ii) to expand access to digital health services.
