Strengthening Bolsa Productos e Insumos Agropecuarios
The general objective of this program is to establish transparent marketing channels for agricultural commodities in Venezuela. The specific objective is to support BOLPRIAVEN in implementing a viable and effective exchange system for the trading of agricultural commodities and inputs. To achieve the above-mentioned objectives, the project includes four components: (i) review of the regulatory and operating framework governing BOLPRIAVEN; (ii) development of negotiable exchange instruments; (iii) implementation of a price reporting and market information system, and (iv) strengthening of the institutional capacity of BOLPRIAVEN.
