Strength. Potable Water Sector Regulation
The main objective of this project is to strengthen
regulatory capacity in the water supply and sanitation sector at the provincial
and local level. The specific objectives are: (i) to strengthen the agencies'
capacity in terms of rate regulation; (ii) to develop mechanisms for community
and consumer participation; (iii) to promote the mechanisms; and (iv) to
facilitate the participation of private capital inthe financing the required
investments.
