Cartographic Information System
Provision of needed technical expertise to support IGM's current effort to implement technological changes in the area of digital cartographic production, by proposing a working plan to modernize cartographic production (focusing on the 1:100.000 map base), by providing a design of a Cartographic Information System, and also by providing input on uses of geographic information systems for management of facilties and installations. Additionally this operation must analyze the current GIS projects being developed with Bank support in the area of Highway Planning and Infrastructure Management, from the perspective of integrating what is being developed by the project and what is currently available or which will soon be at IGM
