Capital Markets Modernization
This project will assist the government of Bahamas to: (a) upgrade the existing Securities Board to provide the expertise and authority to adequately regulate primary and secondary trading of securities, (b) support the development of the Bahamas International Securities Exchange (BISX) through training and structural guidelines, and (c) promote and educate the public about the upgraded Securities board and the newly-formed BISX.
