The general objective of this project is to support the
development of small technology-based enterprises, with stress on
biotechnology companies, primarily in the state of Minas Gerais.

This project has an equity component of US$15 million, of which the MIF
contributed $5 million, public institutions US$5 million, and the private sector
US$5 million.
