Transport Gis Applications
The main objective of the operation is to put in place a geographic information system (GIS) for road works, strengthening the capacity of the Vice-Ministry of Transport, Communications and Civil Aeronautics and the Servicio Nacional de Caminos ¢National Highway Service! to apply the GIS, with emphasis on support for specific projects under study in the Bank pipeline. The project would be implemented in six phases, organized so as to establish the system in a methodical and coordinated manner during execution.
