Regional Agriculture Program

The Program has as its objectives of contributing to economic growth, to the sustainable management of natural resources and to the reduction of rural and urban poverty in the region through technological development, training and the dissemination of agricultural technologies. The beneficiaries will be all Bank's borrowing member countries. In addition, the program will support the continuation of the activities of the Technical Secretariat of FONTAGRO for the period 1999-2000.
