Support Regional Machinery of Caribbean
The purpose of this program is to help the CARICOM member countries mobilize their human and financial resources as effectively as possible in order to participate jointly and fully in bilateral, regional, and multilateral trade negotiations. The program is intended to support the recently established institutional mechanism for coordinating trade negotiations (Regional Machinery). The program will target areas considered to be of priority under the Lomé Convention negotiations, the agenda for WTO multilateral negotiations, and hemispheric negotiations, particularly the Free Trade of the Americas Area (FTAA).
