Inst.Strengthening Consession Public Work & Service

The general objective of this project is to support the Government of Venezuela and the Venezuelan state governments in the development of a system for awarding public works concessions and in the promotion of private sector participation in providing, operating, and maintaining transportation infrastructure. The specific objective of the program is to improve the legal and regulatory framework applicable to private sector participation in providing, operating and maintaining transportation infrastructure, giving national and state authorities the institutional and technical capacity to carry out this process, strengthening the system for regulating concessions, and promoting and taking part in specific projects.
