Rural Women's Role in Democracy

(i) Increase rural women's individual and collective participation on activities and organizations that strengthen community decision making and local civil power in 10 indigenous municipalities of ZonaPaz, which will have municipal elections in 1998; (ii) increase rural women's individual and collective participation in those municipal governments; (iii) increase the actions' effectiveness of aprox. 40 female policy leaders, representing ZonaPaz's rural areas in regional and national forums,such as the National Congress.
