Mediation and Arbitration Center
The general goal of this program is to improve the climate for business relations and investment in Honduras through the use of extrajudicial means of commercial dispute resolution. Its specific objective is to promote the use of alternative commercial dispute resolution mechanisms through two Centers in the country. The program has three subprograms: 1) legal and ethical framework; 2) strengthening the Center for Conciliation and Arbitration in Cortes; 3) strengthening the Center for Conciliation and Arbitration in Tegucigalpa. The executing agency will be the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Tegucigalpa.
