Enterprise-Based Employment Initiatives
The general objective of this project is to support employment and new business growth in Nueva Vizcaya as a demonstration model for an innovative and transferable regional strategy to respond to economic dislocation in the Central America/Mexico region. The specific objectives are: (i) to support strategic investments in technical assistance enterprises to new growth sectors; (ii) to study the economic impact of this regional project/model, particularly o workers displaced from declining industries; and (iii) to transfer this regional experience to other communities in Mexico and Central America.
