The Pension Reform Process in Latin America

The main objective is to analyze the pension reform processes and their perspectives in several Latin American countries. The program will concentrate on the experiences of countries that have reformed their systems establishing individual capitalization accounts during the last two decades. Furthermore, the program will identify obstacles that may be hindering the implementation of the reforms, and derive a set of lessons to promote healthy pension reform processes in the region.
