Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP)
Through this Bank executed project, countries requesting it, in Latin America and the Caribbean will receive assistance in designing, developing and implementing processes and systems related to the use of electronic means in government procurement. The project will make procurement processes more transparent, it will contribute to the creation of stronger institutions, ethical and more efficient use of public funds and the improvement of relations between the government and the civil society. It will also generate economical growth and allow regional integration by having firms from different countries participate in bidding processes.
