National & Local Policies for Social Inclusion

The expansion of opportunities for those excluded for reasons of ethnicity and race, gender, disability, and HIV/AIDS stigma, promotes growth and reduces poverty. Following this, the project will provide countries in the Region with: (1) the needed information about the situation of the excluded and best practices to combat exclusion, focusing especially on the expansion of labor market and economic opportunities for these groups and the reduction of stigma; (2) the needed tools to promote social inclusion policies and projects for growth.
