Promoting Scientific and Technological Development

The objective of this TC is to support the preparation of DR-0154, particularly the component for the development of a national system for innovation. The general objectives lead to: (i) the creation of policies conducive to technological innovations that will benefit small and medium sized enterprises; (ii) the transfer of knowledge an dtechnology developed by higher education institutions to SMEs in order to boost their productivity and competitiveness; (iii) the sthrengthening of linkages between higher education institutions and the productive sector; and (iv) the development of incentives to encourage technological innovation.
