Strengthening Civil Society Networks through Information Technology

The general objetive of the Program is to enable low-income communities to participate in the challenges and benefits that derive from having access to knowledge and information. The specific objetive is to execute a pilot project through which the institutional capacity of the 25 local networks of civil society organizations created by FNSP will be strengthenes through the use of information technology. The methodology used in the pilot porject will serve as a model to elaborate a national strategy to provide access to the benefits of the information technology to poor sectors of society, especially those who live in isolated communities.
