Reforming Employment Services in Ca

The project aims to transfer knowledge of best practices and state-of-the art technologies for labor market intermediation services from OECD countries in Europe to Central America. In the short-term, it will support ongoing institutional reform efforts in Central America which aim to improve the effectiveness of job placement and employment agencies which match job-seekers with employers. In the longer-term it will contribute to better functioning of labor markets in the Region, and generate increased employment for disadvantaged groups, such as women, youth, and ethnic minorities.
