Program for Amazon Conservation and Sustainable Tourism Development in Suriname

The program's General Development Objective (GDO) is to contribute to sustainable economic diversification in Suriname, anchored in the preservation and sustainable use of its Natural Capital (NC). The Specific Development Objectives (SDO) are to: (i) improve the effective management of Suriname's NC; (ii) improve the enabling environment for increased Sustainable Tourism (ST) investment and activity; and (iii) increase the mobilization of Sustainable Financing (SF).
