Support the National Strategic Plan for HIV/AIDS

The general objective of the proposed TC is to contribute to achievement of the goal of the 2004-2008 NSP for HIV/AIDS, which aims to reduce the further spread of HIV/AIDS and mitigate its negative impact on the population of Suriname. The specific purpose of this project is to enhance the institutional capacity to coordinate an integrated response to HIV/AIDS, reduce stigma and discrimination through a modernization of the legislative framework and to scale up prevention efforts aimed at vulnerable populations.
