Entrepreneurial Skills Enhancement & Improvement Production Processes
In order to execute this project, a needs assessment and market research study would be conducted to map out areas for targeted interventions for enhancing production, marketing and distribution of products. The SPWE will develop and implement distance-learning training courses for small producers in Apoera, Section, Washabo and Brokopondo on topics such as packaging, marketing, financial management and health and safety standards. The project would also assist with the creation of networks of small producers to better co-ordinate production, supply and distribution as well as price negotiation.
