Bio-economy Empowerment in Suriname’s Indigenous Communities through access to Water, Energy, and Telecommunications (Bio SWEET)
The general objective of the first operation of the CCLIP is to promote the socio-economic development of villages in the Amazon rural areas of Suriname. The specific objectives are: (i) to provide villages in the Amazon rural areas of Suriname with reliable access to renewable energy-based electricity, potable water supply, and telecommunication systems; and (ii) to foster the development of a bio-economy in the Amazon rural areas of Suriname with a gender and diversity perspective.
