Funding for Building Social Capital through Fiscal Reform

The objective of this project is to undertake a set of national studies in a regional context to identify reform packages that deepen the tax reforms already underway in many countries of the tax system, with a view to raising revenues and making the system more equitable; and to raise the quality of public expenditure, improve budgetary management, strengthen trasparency and accountability, and reduce corruption, so as to foster human capital accumulation at a pace they can reasonably be expected to achieve.
