Poverty Reduction through Local Development and International Value Chains

The goal of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support local development and international value chains, fostering territorial competitiveness, generating employment and promoting poverty reduction. The objective of the TC is to bring state of the art knowledge closer to private sector practitioners from Latin America and the Caribbean who don't usually have access to research results. For this purpose, the TC will partially finance a workshop inviting two internationally known experts as keynote speakers to participate in a round table debate on "Local development and international value chains, and their link to competitiveness, employment generation and poverty reduction". These two experts will also be available to executing agencies representatives for informal exchanges during the workshop.
