Innovative Approaches to Improving Effectiveness and Efficiency of MIF Processes
The general purpose of this technical cooperation is for MIF to be able to respond more quickly and comprehensively with innovative solutions for the client - the NGO or government that sponsors a project - while maintaining standards of accountability and transparency equal or greater than the standards maintained by the Inter-American Development Bank and its affiliates. The specific objectives are aimed to: 1) improve efficiency through savings in terms of time and resources spent on project administration; and 2) improve effectiveness in terms of an improvement in the capacity of country office staff to help executing agencies meet project objectives and achieve intended results.
