Information System for Indigenous Peoples (SIPI)

General: The objective of this technical cooperation is to develop the IT component of the Indigenous Peoples Information System (IPIS) as a key tool for strengthening access to and quality of information for the indigenous peoples, and to help strengthen their participation in the political processes of the region. Especificos: · To coordinate, systematize, distribute, and share relevant information for the main actors of the indigenous development process. · To design and implement a common IT platform of information resources on priority issues in indigenous development. · To systematize access to and the use of information on indigenous peoples at the service of the network in a comprehensive fashion, and by thematic component. · Scalability and sustainability of the project through the exclusive use of open-code and free applications.
