Sida-IDB Dialogue for Housing Ministers of Central America
The specific objectives of the operation are: a) To develop a comparative analytical review of successful low/moderate-income housing policies, programs and projects in the region; b) To discuss best practices in the light of current challenges faced by housing ministers and their technical staff in a meeting to stimulate discussion on opportunities and possibilities; c) To identify specific issues of interest to the housing ministers and to provide funding to research them and a meeting to discuss the results; and d) To disseminate the results of the review and the outcomes of the meeting in a publication to be distributed among the leading personnel of housing ministries in the countries of the region.
