RG-X1187 : MIF/IDB Public-Private Partnership Platform
Project Status: Implementation
This Platform responds to a call by the GEF for greater engagement of the private sector in the generation of Global Environmental Benefits (GEBs) through Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) to be developed in partnership with Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs). The PPP Platform is a GEF programmatic initiative that enables MDBs to use GEF funding in the form of non-grant, reimbursable instruments. PPP Platforms are designed to address barriers to private sector investments and to facilitate technological innovations that promote GEBs.
