Replacing Insecticides in Potato Crops

General Objective:
Help reduce the losses caused by major insect pests of potato using Integrated Management of Plagues (IMP) a new cleaner technologies, reducing poverty of farmers and improving food security.
Specific Objectives: 1. Promote the dissemination and adoption of new IMP program potato cultivation through the establishment and strengthening of inter-institutional platform (RED-MIP-PAPA), 2. Coordinate with the private sector the introduction of plastic barriers in new regions of Peru and the establishment of demonstration plots, 3. Train extension of governmental and non-governmental organizations in IMP workshops and website platforms, 4. Coordinate and establish a monitoring and impact analysis of selected organizations.
