RG-X1150 : Best Practices in Social Inclusion and Gender

The objectives of this program are: (i) to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge, innovations and best practices in social inclusion that promote the economic empowerment of women. Through the organization of an international conference the Bank will create a platform for dialogue and learning on innovative experiences developed by public and private institutions in Latin America, the Caribbean and other regions, and (ii) to catalyze the initiatives of public and private sector institutions by making public their commitments to generate gender inclusive policies that increase the economic opportunities for women, as workers, entrepreneurs or business leaders. Technical and financial support to the international conference has been requested by the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion of Peru. The event will be part of the Social Inclusion Week, which will commemorate the first anniversary of the creation of Peru¿s MIDIS.
