RG-X1129 : Strengthening Governance in the Extractive Industries in LAC

The overall aim of this TC is to contribute to the strengthening of governance in the extractive industries (oil/gas and mining) in Latin American and the Caribbean (LAC). The specific objectives of this TC are to: (i) improve transparency and access to information (ii) strengthen legal and regulatory reform; (iii) build capacities, within governments and civil society, to improve the monitoring of socio-economic and environmental impacts; (iv) increase and disseminate knowledge on extractive industries and (v) support the origination, design and execution of IDB projects on extractive industries.
