The main objective of the proposed training is to strengthen Bank capacity for DRM, in order to improve the effectiveness of the Bank's development assistance in the context of disaster risk. The specific objectives of the TC is to develop a series of five (5) course modules designed to: (a) Enhance knowledge and skills among technical staff in the application of Bank guidelines for the routine incorporation of DRM in (i) country programming and country strategy preparation, (ii) project preparation and execution; and (iii) post-disaster response; and (b) Increase awareness among Bank staff of the Bank's DRM agenda
