Evaluating Long-Term Impacts of Agroforestry Interventions

This proposal aims to assess the long-term effectiveness of agroforestry projects by estimating the impacts of two interventions implemented in El Salvador and the Dominican Republic. The analysis will combine ground-truth survey data with remote sensing information. Both projects share the objective of increasing agricultural productivity and income of smallholder farmers while strengthening climate resilience and environmental sustainability. The interventions included: (i) financial incentives to offset the costs of adopting agroforestry systems and (ii) technical assistance to support adoption of climate-smart practices.
