Enhancing the Use of Fiduciary Country Systems through International Standards and Best Practices

This Technical Cooperation (TC) aims to improve the effectiveness, reliability, and sustainability of national fiduciary by supporting countries in closing gaps with international standards and good practices, and by fostering regional knowledge exchange — thereby enabling and optimizing the use of country systems in IDB-financed operations. This will be achieved through: (1) targeted capacity-building interventions to reduce gaps in financial management and procurement systems with respect to internationally recognized standards; and (2) structured knowledge exchange and government-to-government cooperation to promote the adoption of good practices and drive continuous improvement in fiduciary governance.
