This Technical Cooperation (TC) aims to support borrowing member countries in enhancing the effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency of public resource management — with the ultimate goal of promoting and sustaining the use of national fiduciary systems in IDB-financed operations. This objective will be pursued through: (1) conducting assessments and diagnostics to evaluate the development and performance of national fiduciary systems, ensuring the availability of updated and relevant information; (2) identifying international and regional good practices through technical studies, research, and comparative analysis; and (3) supporting the design of strategic action plans that enable countries to plan, prioritize, and build technical capacity for sustained improvements in fiduciary governance.
