The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to strengthen regional digital integration in Central America by improving the planning, coordination, and preparation of investments in resilient digital infrastructure. The specific objectives are: (i) support the development of a Regional Digital Infrastructure Plan for Central America, identify and address barriers to cross-border digital infrastructure development; (ii) prepare prefeasibility studies for priority regional connectivity and data infrastructure initiatives; and (iii) assess opportunities to strengthen regional data infrastructure and AI-enabling capabilities through enhanced cooperation, governance, and investment planning among participating countries.
