From the Vice Presidency for Sectors and Knowledge (VPS), this Technical Cooperation looks to build upon the IDB Group Synergies roadmap by generating evidence on cross-window operational collaboration and private sector engagement, and converting that evidence into practical tools, piloted mechanisms, and capacity-building efforts that can scale across the Group. Grounded in the Productivity, Trade, and Innovation (PTI) agenda — where deeper private sector participation is a central driver of growth — it positions cross-window collaboration as a lever to sharpen the Group's development impact. Its specific objectives are to: (i) Strengthen cross-window synergies understanding within the IDB Group by conducting applied research on real collaboration experiences; (ii) Activate and systematize private sector engagement that drives productivity and growth by assessing forms of IDB–private sector interaction that are not yet institutionally tracked; and, (iii) Build institutional capacity and disseminate findings.
