The general objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to promote sustainable productive growth in Amazon border regions by strengthening capacities and enabling conditions for the development of priority cross-border value chains, fostering private sector engagement as a key driver of productive growth. The TC will support the implementation of one priority sustainable tourism initiative and one priority agri-food product in the Amazon border cluster. The intervention will deploy a capacity-building program on commercial expansion and market access standards for producers, cooperatives, and operators in both sectors. Environmental sustainability considerations will be incorporated as a competitiveness enabler, supporting compliance with market requirements and the responsible use of natural capital.
